We are wondering what type of excursions are being offered at the resort ... other than the Boobs Cruise lol ... is there any that are highly recommended ... we have already done Xcaret Park
We've been twice already and done all the trips, we would highly reccomend the Swim with Dolphins over on Isla Mujeres, its a day out and it's well worth every penny. We've done it twice we enjoyed it that much! Chitzen Itza, again i'd highly reccomend, so interesting if you are into history, culture and the mayan legacy! Xplor is for the thrill seeker with all the zip wires, long day and you are exhausted by the end but again, brilliant experience, Xel-Ha is pretty cool, and you have already done Xcaret, so I beleive they are the main ones...You can also swim with the whale sharks, sting-rays and sea turtles but i couldnt comment on this as personally, we've not done them. We didnt book any of our excursions through the Hotel, we booked all of ours at Walmart, friendly, professional and we paid half what we were quoted at the Hotel (not knocking the hotel excursions by far!) but we stuck with what we were comfortable paying! It's a beautiful place...This year, for our third trip, we don't really plan on leaving the resort! For more information on the excursions, simply click the tabs at the top to take you back to the main page!
We went to Tulum before and it was nice cause it was a half day... we had eyes Chitzenea (or however you spell it lol ) but it seems like a lot of travel and missing a whole day off the resort for it
It's around 2 hours there, but you do stop off for Lunch and at a Mayan co-operative villiage for some shopping wehich really breaks it up. You then have a 1 hour guided tour which is incredibly interesting if you are interested in Mayan History, then you have 2 hours fo free time again to explore and buy some stuff. You meet back at the bus where you head back to the resort, but you stop once to swim in a cenote. It's a full day off the resort yes, however the Chitzen Itza is one of the few natural 7 wonders of the world that is left so to us, it was well worth it!
It was the one in downtown Cancun! Behind the check outs! We went to pick up some liquor and booked them then! Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
Avoid whole day bus trips if your only there for a week ( my opinion) A trip to Isla, and renting golf carts is on the short list . V has some recent restaurants listed in the Cancun Info page
