how much time do we save if we transfer company...

Been reading excellent reviews for the USA Transfers company and how quick and efficient they are but just curious what's the average time usually if we take the transfer that is included in our travel package ... we arrive in Cancun at 10:30 am

 

It really depends. No one is going to have an exact number for you. If its already paid for and included, I would say stick with what you have but you will know better for next time. Our first trip we booked with a vacation company (air/resort/transport) I will likely not do that again unless the price is amazing.

Our 'included' transportation only stopped at 1 other resort but I have heard horror stories of 10+ resorts. It also depends on how long you are stuck in customs and immigration. The gold standard that all TTR veterans hold themselves to is under 60 minutes from landing to lobby.

Yes that was us.. we took over 2 hours to get to TTR. Never again!!! We were the last stop. We are going USA Transfers only!!

Did it once a couple years ago....landing to a mudslide in hand at Premier Bar, in 52mins
but it was early Christmas morning (9am), no traffic and we were only plane arriving

 

USA usually takes us about 20 mins from the airport. Just us, no stops.

 

Last time we went with westjet we were the only ones in the included transfer to the resort.

 

Our first trip to TTR in May we booked all in one with the travel company.

Luckily our ride to TTR had only 1 stop before getting to the resort. The couple along for the ride were honeymooners. So the ride was actually fun.

The return trip to the airport, the van stopped at 3 different hotels on the way to the airport.

The price difference between this transfer and our next trip in October (USA Transfers)? $5.00 more for the round trip private transfer.

 

October last year we made it in just over an hour...1hr10minutes to be exact (Saturday afternoon arrival) we thought that was pretty impressive.

Forgot to mention it was Canada Transfers. (it was our 1st time using them)
we find that they are more efficient and use them now

 

Our first time was with the included transfer. We were the last ones to be dropped off, it was around 1.5 to 2 hrs to get to TTR. USA Transfers will get you there in about 20 -25 mins.
