Relax and have fun. I am 5'9" and weigh 345lbs. OK 355 but who gives a shit!!! Really dude its about attitude. Anyone who judges you can piss up a rope!!! That is what TTR is all about. Am I right?
Seriously, you'll be there 5 minutes and wonder what you were worried about! The best thing about TTR for me is that nobody (outwardly) judges you on appearance. You get a lot of respect for getting into the party spirit and embracing the concept of the resort. I'm fat. Not fat enough to go on one of those 'I've been trapped in my house for 5 years and can't wash myself' shows, but I'm definitely bigger than a majority of the body shapes you'll see at TTR. It is the only place I've genuinely found that this does not matter. NOBODY has ever called me out on it, and I still feel confident enough to wear whatever I'm comfortable in. This is why I go back every year. I can be myself and not worry about being treated differently just because of my weight. I'm certainly not saying that being grossly out of shape is a good thing, but whilst I continue my never-ending battle to shed the pounds, I love that for two weeks every year I get to forget these body hang-ups and just have a good time.
Me and Tracy came here for our first time in June and we was a little worried with the same problem. 5 mins at the resort Tracy's top came off (her first time) and my confidence went up, trust me it's true what people say on here you will so many friends at TTR. Go enjoy your time and have a blast, we are already planning our next trip with people we met from Tulsa. Will and Tracy x

I've never had the pleasure to meet you Trish but I LOVE YOU! You stated how I feel perfectly. I'm a bigger girl who has gone up and down on the scale but when at Temptation my insecurities are wiped out for a week. Currently I'm dealing with a non-weight related medical issue and I have been thinking hubby & I should skip our trip this Sept. I'm still on the fence but it's people like you and the good people of CancunCare that make me want to keep our plans. Rita
Most of the women I know have something about their body they don't like. (My butts to big, my boobs are different sizes, my gut hangs out.) And the ones that think they are perfect usually aren't much fun. And most of the guys I know think their wives are hot. And the guys who don't think their wife is hot aren't much fun either. If you think your wife looks good go and spend a week looking at her. You wont regret it.
This is helping us with our decision to head over to TTR. Hoping for a late November trip. We are an "average" couple.
Please don't skip your trip. I am dealing with a medical issue as well!! And am a bigger girl... I've seen a lot of your posts and you've helped me a lot even though we haven't met... Please go :icon_cool:
I wouldn't worry about a thing. The last time I was at TTR I was over 325lbs. Didn't stop the party or any of the fun. ... This trip I am a 125lbs lighter but miles away from the beach body everyone seems to think you have to have. Still won't stop me from having a great time!
