Thanks, and to clarify one other point, someone mentioned my attempt was to sleep with others wife.

I was trying to understand the etiquette as to not offend anyone.
If I was an ass who just wanted to do that, I wouldn't ask for the advice.

As a matter of fact, my other posts were asking advice on rooms, water filtration and on bubba mugs.

And as for pictures, depending on your employer and sensitivity of your job different levels of background checks are performed.

Facial recognition is trivial today and there are free sites that can do it for HR.

I do find it amusing as well that I would be "trusted" if I posted a pic, considering How easy it is for people to go on Facebook and use someone else's pictures.


Just some advice, if you are using an Internet photo to validate authenticity, probably not the best idea

The main issue is discussing the lifestyle hear as mentioned by numerous people , is against forum rules.
The art is to skirt around the subject with clever words. You were pretty direct in your statements , and insinuating it would be ok to copulate with a willing ( drunk ?) wife without asking her husband set off a few alarm bells.

we are not admin.s ,, so you don't have to listen to us , so knock yourself out and keep asking direct questions about lifestyle .

Sorry, not trying to be insulting but as someone who's worked with web developers since the mid 90's this struck me as funny.

In this age of anonymity the simple act of posting a picture of yourself goes a long way to establishing trust. As to posting a random pic from the web, well the only person you'd be fooling is yourself as the idea is that people get to know you and recognize you on your trip. Mind you that grainy image doesn't really help a whole lot.

rather than being overly defensive (which can be seen more as a sign of guilt) perhaps take these comments constructively and adjust your behavior accordingly. You'll have a fantastic time if you go down without expectations and make a point of meeting people in a friendly and respectful manner. Just like "real" life

Actually you are incorrect,

Forums sometimes log up addresses, IP address are generally dynamic and change depending on the lease time.

To tie a person to their IP you would need the service provider to give you that info which requires a subpoena.

Yea I am not really Arnold in Commando I will switch my picture back now that my point has been made.

 

I am a little smarter than that and was not suggesting a photo would prove you to be authentic...but having a photo sure does make it much easier to finally meet the people you commmunicate with prior. I discussed travel dates and plans (Boobs Cruise) with many on here prior to going and was able to pick most of them out at the pool. Without a photo, it is a total shot in the dark. If you cant do it because of your job, then it is what it is...make the best of your situation, just makes it harder for others to pick you out.

I think you are being defensive here, trying to prove your point by uting my other posts that don't actually prove anything.

"Included doesn't mean what you think it does" and "drunk" was never something I said not would do.

I think some couples here need to realize that not all the guys coming alone have an interest in sleeping with them.
