The weather was great! Upper 80s in the day...upper 70s at night..no rain! At the beginning of our week (we got there on Saturday) the crowd was good...lots of people. Tuesday and Wednesday the resort seemed empty but a lot of people came in on Thursday. The vibe was definitely different than H&H week or Valentines week..much younger crowd...several young groups. It made the vibe more of a frat party feeling and not as sexy. Sara69 and Coral did a good job with the pool games but the other new blonde girl that is on the entertainment staff is not very outgoing and seems embarrassed to be there. We will be surprised if she lasts long. At Paty Os it was nice having the DJ booth off the floor and the video scren behind the DJ was a nice touch. They had a guest DJ from MX City..she played her own mixes that were not dance music so most didnt care for that. They are doing a lot of small renovations around the resort such as painting, changing light fixtures, etc.. We did notice that they had brought in more sand on the beach and kept it spotless...it really looked nice compared to what it did before. If anyone has any specific questions feel free to ask! Thanks We all know HnH vibe is not replicated any other week. it's the best week of the 52 weeks every year. if TTR could bottle it they would The staff issue is always intersting. So many have come and gone over the years. Burn out is a factor, but many just are not cut out for the job description. I know some ppl who will be happy about beach improvements. glad they are listening to complaints and trying to upgrade.
I am puzzled, if they planning a major renovation to the resort, why the hell would they be doing all of these relatively minor renovations? It doesn't make sense but it sure makes me wonder what the end game is.
