Hi guys! Our trip is rapidly approaching and so is the start of football season. We will be at TTR for two of our Seahawks regular season games this year. They play da Bears on Sept 26th and the Lions on Oct 5th. The Lions game is a prime time game, so perhaps the resort's channels will get that game? I guess what I'm getting at here is how can we watch these games at TTR? And if you'll be here during this time and are a Hawks, Bears or Lions fan let's figure it out and watch some football together! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If u go to the sports bar (tv room ) and the bartender is there U can get him to check the channels .... if no one is there, U can go the quiet pool and request the bartender to get someone down there to help. They have several TVs and they tried to have a wide selection of games on when we were there last year... U will not be the only one down there watching football games .... U can take a lap top and get wifi in your room and try to pick up the game that way too... good luck
Last season we just used football (I'm Lions, wife is Ravens) as an excuse to leave the resort for a couple hours. Granted, it helped the winter weather was 'blah' that day, but it was fun. We hit the area near Hard Rock, Hooters, and a bunch of other places to bounce between a few bars watching our games for a couple hours. It was only a few bucks by cab.
They had a good amount of games on in Sept. when I was there...I think. On Monday I was saying to people that I missed watching anything, and people were giving me updates. Found out later in the day I was in the sports bar on and off all day. Yea I don't remember that. I guess I had more impressive things to commit to my memory banks that day.
We will be there end of August and first of September ... will try to carry on with your skill of being there and yet not being there... rangehat:
When we were there for Halloween last year I got to watch my 49ers begin the tailspin that their season became. Not a fond memory but the games were on in the sports bar.
Don't know about your chicken-hawks but I think they will show my Rams game at the sports bar :aktion033: (I also think the sports bar had the NFL package last year when we were there....) How about if the Rams win the week before you buy the drinks and if the Seahawks win (unlikely!) than we will buy the drinks?
Sounds like a fair plan! Thanks for all the responses guys! We're there for the sexy pool, but if we can find a way to watch the games easily that would definitely be ideal!
Like others have said.. the sports bar should be able to help you out. Or, Hooters in the hotel zone. Hooters turned on the opening day Mariners game for me back in April. GO HAWKS !!!
