We are close, but Dallas is not more fun than TTR. We don't care for the clubs over there. All the good ones on the Fort Worth side of things get closed.
Lol I find it hard to believe that anywhere would be more fun than TTR... I've learned to go to TTR with an open mind and to have the attitude of whatever happens happens. We've always had a blast maybe you just went during the wrong time.

We're trying Desire RM this October for a few days. Figured we would split the trip up this year. 10 days at TTR is a lot.
I have never heard of TTR booking a takeover. I don't think they would because they seem to work hard at making sure it is not identified as a lifestyle resort. I believe you would find either of the Desires more of what you're looking for.
Years ago (before you even joined CCC) the resort would sell blocks of rooms to groups. They would sometimes get some special perks like bringing their own DJ to the quiet pool for a private party or taking over at the restaurants for private events but I have not heard of that happening in a few years now. I assume it is because the resort was getting negative feedback from the other guests and that they no longer need to worry about hitting their fill rates by booking groups.
