Found iPhone 6

My android phone allows me to display a personal message on the home screen which is my email address I guess iPhones want you to buy another phone

If you press the home key for Siri and say call home or call mum or call ice etc it will let you do it when locked.

 

I get that. The phone has no charge. I am getting a friend's charger so I can try that.

 

Ok it now has a charge and siri does not seem to understand my American English. Siri voice has a British accent. So all my British peeps....what are some phrases I can try that may be different than what I am saying? I tried call home, ring mum, dial home. And by the way I am trying to use my best English accent too. Don't know if that is helping or hurting.

Yah Cher! Dis stoopid phone don no wha Im sayin. It is pretty funny though, my coworker walked in and saw and heard what I was doing and just laughed. But I really don't have much of a cajun accent, and the only British accent I can do is James Bond. And it's not all that great.

I just tried this with my iphone 6: Hold down the power button and then ask "Whose phone is this?" It displayed my contact info. But it understands me. My Siri sounds like Mary Poppins while I have the accent of a Utah hick. Opposites attract.
