Holy shit, on a lark, I looked at airfare prices for Halloween and I went to cheaptickets.com. I entered SFO to CUN on the 24th to the 2nd with flexible dates and airports within 80 miles to cover OAK and SJO. It gave me flights on the 25th-2nd from SFO on US Airways for $189 r/t. Booked it! That is less than half of the lowest fare we have ever found. If anyone is looking for a flight now might be great time to see what's out there. STOKED!!!

Wow, that's a lot of money. The most we have ever paid is $1,080 for the two of us. That was on United for a non-stop from SFO to CUN this last May.

We use JetBlue points and I know I am going to piss people off with this but here goes. It is usually about $500 for a pair of tickets from Ft. Lauderdale and back. Points are about 15 -15,500 PER ticket, booked two round trip for 18, 400 points. That was a homerun. That's nearly half the usual amount and the taxes for the pair was $139 round trip. Oh yeah and Spirit can suck my ball with their 40 lbs weight limit and pay $50 a bag, FREE on JetBlue and the normal 50lbs.
