OK as many of you know we are new to the TTR/CCC scene. I have seen and read MANY things about Chinos and I can't wait to meet him myself in 7 days. However reading and seeing all the pics about his Cause for Cancer got me thinking. At risk of getting flamed on this post, what is Chinos' association with cancer? Is he a survivor himself or just really into fulfilling these wonderful kids' dreams? Either way doesn't matter to me, it's a very noble cause and one that we are happily donating to on our cruise. Thanks!
Hi we where here at the start of June first time as well went on the crusie and from what I gather he's a survivor and just loves helping out anyone suffering last I heard he managed to send 4 kids to Disney land one of the best blokes iv meet as well as Omar, Steve and all the staff
Chinos is an amazing man and a two time survivor. His last episode required expensive treatment. Many on the site donated to help him out. Funds over and above what he needed he took it upon himself to help a post cancer treatment facility and now is helping kids with cancer. He is truly an inspiration and one of a kind. It is an honour to help out. Every little bit counts
That is what I hear. I know our Boobs Cruise on the 29th has decided to pull some money together for his efforts. Last I knew we are around $1,000 if everyone brings what they say they will. Every bit helps!
Chinos is a survivor, twice beaten skin cancer, he is an amazing person, outside of his ultra entertainer personality, he spends alot of his extra personal time trying to help kids fighting cancer in Mexico with special trips or help fix their homes, bring toys for them to play with, Help bring awareness to the hardships that Mexicans with cancer have, closest treatment centers are hundred miles away, he also helps 2 houses that support and house kids and their families. We Cancuncare members help his cause out with donations of money and toys and medical supplies, etc. you can either donate in person on the Boobs Cruise or online through this site. When we were there last month we saw that the hotel was making donations to Chinos Cause for Cancer if you went to the presentation...nice to see the resort supporting his cause as well as we hadn't seen it before...
