A few 'first timer' questions I haven't found answers for

Should we be aware of anything on the beach at night? Bugs/Nats/Flys? If we decided to take a midnight stroll.

The 24 hour sports pool...what goes on here exactly and is it used often in the evenings? When does the Sexy Pool and the Quiet Pool close?

 

There are plenty of things you should be aware of on the beach at night, and that's one of the main reason's people go there, but bugs don't seem to be a problem. The sports pool is where we play naked tequila volleyball during the day, and also where the rocking foam party is held. At night it's the only pool you are allowed to swim in. There's usually a lot of skinny dipping going on in there when people want to cool off from dancing at Patty'Os. Officially there's no sex allowed in the sports pool but I have a feeling that rule isn't always followed! LOL! It's probably more of a guideline than a rule!

 

The beach is fine at night, but there were these itchy things (thimble jelly fish?) in the water the one time we went in the ocean late at night on June.

Quiet pool and sexy pool close around 6-7.

The sports pool is pretty empty most days. Naked tequila volleyball is officially only once or twice a week for an hour or so, and the foam party is once a week. Lots of people jump in to cool off after dancing at night, but security kept a close eye on it when we were there. I've seen nudity in there, but not much more.

Bugs at night always get bit no matter what try AVON skin so soft (lotion) proven to work.

 

Our first trip was in July 2013 and we were wading through the water on our last night. It was a full moon and that might have had something to do with it, but we saw a LOT of rays, including one really big one. I have the picture in an album.

 

I'm hardly ever on the beach so can't help ya there. Alot of skinny dipping goes on late at night after a night of dancing at the bar. Security is usually pretty tight around there, but we've never had an issue.

 

The beach at TTR is fine at night..........usually security just watches. I would not walk the beach in either direction at night...........no way in hell for us.

 

Not safe to walk the beach at night?

 

yeah I'm wondering the same thing... why is it not safe?
