Please clear this up for us....what kind(s) of beer are available at TTR. Many threads say only Dos Equis and others say XX and Corona. Please, please say it's the later
The confusion is because members can get Sol and Corona and bottles Sent from my SM-G870W using Tapatalk
Yea Dos Equis is what they have on draft. They also have cans of Tecate Light they put in the fridge in your room. Corona was not available, even for members, last month.
Damn, how is it that Dos Equis dominates all Mexican all-inclusive resorts?? It is one of the only Mexican beers that we don't really care for. Can tolerate it for a day or so but would love to see other options. May have to bribe the housekeeper to load us up on Tecate Light. Thanks for the info.
Yea it is my least favorite as well. As far as bribing the maid...you really don't even have to. I mean I do tip them well, but if you ask you shall receive. I have had convos with them that you don't have to load anything besides those and water, and i have returned back to loads of both, and even overflow next to the fridge. Sometimes with the language they don't understand at first. Leaving a note, or having someone else that is more fluent in English and Spanish translate for you also really can help.
We have made up a few index cards in spanish for our popular requests. We will know how well it works next month.
The tap beer tastes different from the cans they have,, a lot smother,, its a all day beer. Bring bubba mug to keep it cold. small store acrooss the street,, but they frown at ''bottles'' around the pool
XX is pretty good for mexican beer. It's a shame they don't have XX Amber or Pacifico. At the old cabo Temptation it was tecate on tap...talk about gutrot beer...ugh.
ahh yes that Tecate was like licking sap off a Spruce tree,, good thing the wallmart was across the street, daily trip for a couple cases of cans,,, still miss the resort
