Rained heavily yesterday for much of the day, the first time in 4 months. Overcast and periodic light showers today.
one suggestion to deal with the wet weather...bring something to cover the damp seats when U go to Paty O's disco at night, the seats will be wet and the girls do not like sitting on a wet surface in their thongs. We took plastic Garbage bags on our last trip. I am looking for something better to bring on our next trip. anyone has suggestions ?
From looking at the Palace page I remember the first 2 weeks of June last year being really bad. Lots of flooding and non stop rain. Hope it's not a repeat this year for you guys.
We are there the same week and are also concerned. I hope its like here in Orlando 60% chance every late afternoon. We will all still have fun regardless!
We went this time last year and rained out 5 of our days. And I mean zero goin on outside. Never spent so much time in the sports bar!! Definitely recommend packing a small umbrella, just to be safe. We regretted not having one. All that being said, went back in eay may and had zero rain.
Not always wet from water, Melissa actually sat in a chair soaked in piss one trip. The next day people were talking about seeing someone so drunk they pissed themself. We said gee thanks for not moving the damn chair away.
The weather is usually great there. However, Mother Nature has sure been doing her thing lately everywhere. Do, however, consider trip insurance during the times of year you may go. We have to go through several Mountains, Tunnels, Canyons, etc. to arrive at our airport and any given time, we might not make to the airport on time. That way our insurance can cover these delays, or even several days of weather on your trip, etc. I know it is easier said than done, but try not to let the forecast concern you too much. Sadly, you can't control it. In all of the trips we have been on at TTR, there was only one real bad storm. However, I started a day drinking party at the Sexy Pool Bars and we had a blast. Raining in warm weather, day drinkin ! :sunny: Also, when you see a forecast of 80% chance of rain, it usually translates to there is an 80% chance that it might rain or cloud cover for 15 minutes. Hope this helps- Have a great trip Ang
Thanks for the info! Also, sounds like you two might live West of the Eisenhower! Dealt with many delays in that are trying to make it back to Kansas in the late winter months!
You're very welcome ! You are correct. Eisenhower Tunnel, Vail Pass, Glenwood Canyon. Or headed to Junction, we have South Canyon and Debeque Canyon ! Ugh Originally from Chicago and Indiana.
Rained a little heavy (all day lol) when were were on one of our boobs cruises in Dec, we still partied and got naked though!
