Yeah Frank, I used to do it all the time. With guys though, it usually takes more than 2 hands to manipulate things so you need Kels to be on board with with helping out. The pain isn't that bad. The first time is the worst but not bad.
Joe here , thats true the first time is the worst been waxing for alot of years now and yes ittakes a few hands but does not hurt that much and the end result is worth it
The lady on the phone (when I made my appt) said since its my first time it may not get totally smooth, something about a growth patter or something. Is this true for everyone. I want it all smooth ....
Mine last about 6-8 weeks then i go again, never heard anything about a growth pattern always been smooth from the first time
I'm such a wuss when it comes to pain ... but I'm determined to get it done before TTR! I plan on trying it this summer so I know what to expect before TTR. I have sensitive skin so not sure what I'm in store for ... LOL
I was told to return for maintenance wax in four weeks. So I think the initial one lasts two weeks or so. The other two weeks are for the hair to get long enough to do it again.
That is our experience. Anywhere from 3-4 weeks and it's time to do it again. Each time you do it, though, less and less hair grows back and the hair that does grow back tends to be finer and softer so that's a plus.
