Just got back from a great trip. The only complaint the sexy pool bar had one bartender and service was terrible
Only one bartender? I can't even imagine that since they're hopping when they have numerous drinkslingers.
Yea that's crazy. Almost can't believe it. In three trips experience normally there are 5 bartenders. 3 at the top part and 2 below. In the beginning and end of the day, I have seen it down get to 2 up-top and 1 below (and the up-top will help below if needed). But I have never seen it less then that. And trust me, I spend lots of time at the bar.
Yeah, but remember Steve, we hang out at the Premier bar if we are topside. We always had a seat. LOL
Yea defiantly liked our seats! But I found those premier guys were spread too thin. Normally there were 2 of them bar tending, and then the poolside servers in and out helping. But they were almost too busy with all the chores they had to do. I don't think that small bar is equipped well enough for the demand there including the pool and beach service. I mean you should be able to run with the 2 bartenders, but they had so much extra to do with the ice, only 1 blender, making juice, mopping, cutting fruit,(the list can go on)...If that bar was designed better they might have had it a little easier, and could actually hang out a bit more. The days when I drank Jager, I would give it to Freddy and the guys behind the top part of the pool bar. They got my drinks in rocket speed. I didn't want to add another thing on to the list the premier guys had to worry about.
Nobody works at fast as the guys at night. You never see bartenders hustle as much as these dudes do. I get tired just watching them.
Yeah, they are stretched a little thin at the Premier bar and the bar does not have a good work flow. Things like not having a gun really slow them down. I have been a bartender before and that is not a bar that I would like working behind. Plus, they don't have the hustle that the other guys do.
