Yes but what people are implying is that someone stole or hide, your stuff because you were playing the game. Can't see how you can separate the issue.
The chairs situation is most likely staff or people fed up with "chair entitlement"......the women's bathing suit tops is most likely some dude or chick with a fetish. I once saw a guy in a corridor next to the sexy pool with a camera that had a zoom lense snapping away. I told the other guest he was photographing in secrecy. ..but apparently the guy had a voyeur fetish. All kinds of interesting folks find their way to a place like this. The goal is to have a great time and be spontaneous....but awareness and respect should always be paramount.
It is a very separate issue and people who are stuck on the chair issue don't seem to get it. When someone steals their items from their chairs this whole situation will be seen in a different light. All I have to say is watch your stuff. If people are stealing shirts and bathing suit tops then nothing is off limits. There is a bad case of sticky fingers going on.
The bottom line is if you don't want your t-shirts thrown away (can't even technically call them stolen, as they could have been removed by staff, but you wouldn't know as you were nowhere near the pool when it occurred), don't leave your shit at the pool and then walk away to go off and do whatever it is you do.
Really...That's the bottom line? Do we need to establish an acceptable distance that we can be away from our items before it becomes a free for all? So if your in the pool and your items are unattended its ok for anyone to toss or take your stuff? What about going to lunch. Is that ok to mess with someone's stuff? So the guy that puts his stuff on a chair at 5:00am deserves to have his shit messed with, but the guy that puts his at 9:00am is ok? This thread may be about stealing items and then maybe about saving chairs. It should be about respect. I don't care if a person puts stuff on a chair 2 weeks in advance. Its his stuff and it shouldn't be messed with. If he is using the chair like he should and not sleeping till midafternoon then its his right to play the game. If the resort wants to clear chairs and establish a time to start putting stuff on chairs then let them do it because its their right to establish rules. For everyone else keep your hands off people belongings and if you reserve a chair, USE IT
''I don't care if a person puts stuff on a chair 2 weeks in advance. Its his stuff and it shouldn't be messed with. '' Cool , next time I,m there I will leave my stuff there for next year .
It would be wonderful if this was a perfect world and people respected others peoples shit... But this is the real world even at TTR ... If you don't want to lose it don't leave it ever!!! If you don't give a shit then what will be will be...
