We are about to visit for the first time and my wife is getting anxious. Question..if we end up at the quiet pool or the beach are we going to have any fun at all? I'm all for mixing it up and getting crazy...she's pretty sedate and conservative. Get a few drinks in her and she loosens up but she's getting really uptight just thinking about debauchery and vulgarity, etc. which tends to turn her off. Now she'll party with her girlfriends at the beach and have a blast but she's the tamest one in the bunch and has to be dragged kicking and screaming into the fray. My concern is that I can't keep her "likkered" up ALL day and now I'm worried about missing out on the fun you all seem to have. Please ease my mind if you can...thanks!
Beach is no fun.. You can tan, throw horseshoes or play beach volleyball. Quiet Pool is no fun. You can tan. That's really all you need to know.
You obviously missed the girls beach jelly wrestling... oh boy was that fun and competitive !!. You can also sail Hobby cat's off the beach Use the beach in front of the Sexy Pool, you won't be far from the fun and can always get up to see what's happening. Quiet pool is what it says, but can be as lively as you make it. Don't get too concerned, your wife will soon relax in the fun atmosphere and probably out party you by the end :huepfen013:
It's not as bad as it sounds debauchery is there some but it doesn't happen constantly there's a lot of fun in all that goes on from games that someone may lose swimwear but only momentarily. Vulgarity ic heard stories but did not see it on our first trip there last year. So don't worry to much go with the flow and have fun
This site had me a little worried before our first trip, too. But something to keep in mind is that the people on here make up only about 50 percent of the resort population. So, while you're on CCC, it seems like "everyone" is drunk, naked, and crazy all the time, but that's not the reality. So, while it seems from looking on here that there's non-stop debauchery, there are always a lot of people at the resort taking it more slowly or being more quiet. Your wife will relax as soon as she gets there and can see that for herself. My favorite thing about TTR is you can choose your level, and no one is going to push, judge, or criticize you. No one will ambush her and start demanding she take her top off or shove shots in her face--we've all been newbies, and we know people need to find their comfort level in their own time. Let your wife take her pace. If the sexy pool is a little too much, stake a spot by the quiet pool, but have her walk with you a few times to the beach. You'll have to pass the sexy pool bar. Stop for a drink and start a conversation with someone. Before you know it, you and your wife will have some new friends, and once your wife has a good "partner in crime," it's likely she'll let loose.
