Cancun June Weather 2015 - AccuWeather Forecast for Quintana Roo Mexico I just checked out the weather next week & looks like Cancun will have a thunderstorm majority of our vacation. :cry:
Not unusual to get odd thunder storms but the weather at this time of year is a bit unpredictable..... need to find someone with a Jacuzzi room (LOL) :lotsofmichaelfs: Just 3 days to go for us ..... yippeee
It will say the exact same forecast just about any day this time of year...I wouldn't worry about it at all. If you do get a shower it will be brief (and then get even more humid!). Only time you have to worry more is during hurricane season (keep an eye on tropical storms). Our forecast for next week says thunderstorms every day too but I'm not worried about it.
I think it's funny how they can predict the weather that far in advance and our local forecasters can't get it right from one day to the next. And we live in a very similar climate to Cancun, south Louisiana. Tropical storms or hurricanes are my only concern. Showers will come and go, it's the nature of the Gulf of Mexico in the summer, they will be quick and then back to partying. That is if the party even stops because of the rain. As long as there is no lightning, we will be at the pool or the beach. It may provide a good temporary cool down from the sweltering heat.
our last trip it said cloudy and rain every day... we did not get one drop of rain... the 18-19 hours we were up everyday... maybe it rained when we were sleeping lol don't sweat it at all... live in the moment and enjoy the time u are there
