    question

I'm a little worried as I read this thread...one of the main things I want to do is lie out by the pool and relax and I'm looking forward to being able to get a seat. Sounds like you need to claim them early or you might be out of luck?

    It's actually an easy process.

Before your trip, print up some T-shirts telling all of your new best friends to GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM MY CHAIRS, pack the T-shirts with you to Cancun, then at 4:45 every morning, go use them to reserve pool chairs. At that point it doesn't matter whether you spend the day in the pool, in your room, at the buffet, or on the Boobs Cruise; the important thing is that you got chairs and someone else didn't!

    Piece of cake.

Don't worry,, this is just a bunch of regular CC folks using sarcasm to have fun , on a issue that used to be a huge problem.

A few years ago a large area was added for members by the pool , which took a lot of the pressure off the pool loungers.

There are p[lenty of loungers every where.,,, yes if you want one of the 60 or so prime chairs by the pool you will have to get up early.

As far as relaxing , your going to the wrong resort ,, pool any way ,, you can go relax at the quiet pool .
Cheers ,, enjoy your trip :)

Just understand..........a shirt on a chair.....left unattended for most of the morning may be found neatly folded on the deck by noon. If you want a seat, sit in the chair! OR........share a chair or chairs with another couple. Just a thought.

Several people from our July group will use ours to place their things in on or under. They will also use them when any of them want to sit back and relax outside the pool. The shirts people make up are meant to be fun and create smiles. Sorry to see some taking them so seriously.

Yea you know I really don't get into much with the whole chair thing, because I always say "I don't ever sit in them", but I can tell you after my trip last week, this is a problem. I kept a better look at all the chairs with shirts, towels, towel clips, and other various holders. 90% of times they were never sat in. I saw the same holders on the same chairs day after day, and never saw the people using them EVER.

My group mostly hangs at the bar or in the pool, and 6 of us normally just throw our stuff with someone else (we had up to 10 people using 2 chairs). But there were a few times we were all hanging out and we were at the chairs. Mostly standing, eating pizza, dancing. But we were wayyyy in the back corner (like near the steps to go up to that top deck near the fun holes).

Again I am not really bitching, because I don't use chairs all that often, but I do think it is a bit crazy the way that people covet the chairs. Especially the ones in the locations that are more fun, but yet they are never ever there. I think there should be some type of regulated system, and I feel bad for the people that do use the chairs more then I do, but are prevented from the toddlerish attitude of other with "this is mine, no you can't have it" Even when they are not using it.

As I said before, we don't use the chairs very often....just the occasional sun bathing or seat when we are eating or putting sunblock on. We just need somewhere to put our stuff.....tipping money, sunblock, etc. If we know people, we just put our stuff with theirs, but if we don't then we share one chair. Sure would be nice if they had lockers available.
