Just got back. It's $35 for 7 days. Wifi worked great at patyos and ok by the pool. However during peak times ( afternoon nap time ) it was slower and sometimes kicked you off. I speed tested it and it was anw where from 3-7 mps

Yeah we used it last time we were there (Sept. last year) and it worked well then. Just wish I could figure out a way to share it between our devices...I could've sworn that last time I was able to get around that somehow...

Me and the hubby were just wondering about this today. Debating taking our cell phones, tables or just buying a calling card again.

I am thinking about doing this. It is a 4G LTE mobile wifi hotspot with unlimited data for 5 devices that works specifically for Mexico. You actually choose the country you want if for when you order it. Download speed of 100mb and upload speed 0f 50mb. They mail you the device before your trip and then you mail it back when you return. A bit pricey though at $12.95 per day.

you set up your ( ie) laptop as a hub , and your other devices go through it.

you have to be in range, ie all in your room

Just don't ask me ''how'' to do it ,lol

I thought the 100/50 ya mentioned was a lil fast for international Mobile broadband devices. It looks like the 100/50 speeds are for the U.S. using Verizon. The ZTE for international is considerably less but still decent if it actually will do the 21/5 it lists. I agree the $12.95 is pricey. Maybe split the cost with someone? The wifi at TTR is spotty at best. This could be a much better option. Found any reviews for it when used in Cancun?
