I PM'd some tips to a new friend and thought many of the first timers could benefit from lessons learned from previous party goers. Tips: Bring two pens to fill out your paperwork on the plane. Pack your carry on with your Buba Mug, hat, sunglasses, spf, swimsuits (one she's very comfortable with), flip flops, tip cash and anything else you'll need at the pool as the room probably won't be ready. Race through customs and shoot out the double doors and don't stop to talk to anyone inside. Meet USA Transfers outside and check in. We went straight to the resort and didn't stop at WalMart. Check in at the hotel and when they tell you to talk to the concierge ignore them and walk straight out the double doors through Patty-O's and around the restaurant and to the pool (if you wanna eat, go eat). Change in the restrooms at the pool and get the party started. Go 50% of what you think you should to avoid the first day curse. Have the time of your life! Don't pressure the top removal (if it's still on). It will come off when she's ready. It will come off... EAT SOMETHING! You laugh now, but you'll laugh there when you remember me saying this in all caps because you forgot. Take a nap after leaving the sexy pool. Have some fun in the room before dinner. EAT DINNER! Go to Patty-O's and dance your ass off. Flirt and be sexy. Get a hamburger and fries and eat in your room. Have some fun in your room. There are two channels with great documentaries 24 hours a day. GET SOME SLEEP! Wake up and do it all agaIn! Feel free to tack on to the list with some practical TTR advice that will help our new friends have an amazing experience.
thanks Thanks for the tips we are first timers and every tip makes us feel a lot more comfortable about the trip.
Make friends on here and facebook before going, book the Boobs Cruise preferable early in your vacation, the people you meet is what makes this resort the best. DON'T BE SHY TALK WITH PEOPLE. Play the games get involved.
Pack some meds just in case: Pepto, Immodium, Advil, Benadryl, etc. Also, be careful walking around and getting in and out of the pool. The pool gets slippery from all the sunscreen. Speaking of sunscreen, wear LOTS. Dance all night at Paty-O's and eat a cheeseburger at 4am. artyhorn:
Take something(s) you know you would wear, something(s) you think you might wear, and something(s) you dont think they make enough alcohol to wear, Tina says no matter what she wears shes always overdressed.
"Better to have and need not than to need and not have." Don't try to pack light. Take multiple outfits for every day (TinanPaul's advice above is perfect!) and lots of shoe options. When you're buying theme night wear and you're looking at all those awesome strappy dresses, think realistically about how complicated it's going to be to get them on after a day of drinking. Will you figure out where your head and arms go before Paty'O's closes? Make sure you do practice dressing drills at home! If you see a big group, don't assume they're all longtime friends and you aren't invited. Say, "Hi, you guys look fun!" and watch how fast you're taken in! Make an oath that your answer to any request or suggestion from the staff or from people holding cans of AIWC will be, "Okay, why not?" and you will definitely have the time of your life!
We always pack a few travel size cans of Lysol spray for the AC vents. Wasn't thinking when we first got our room last September (can you say alcohol) and sprayed the "out" vent with the AC running...tasted delicious, lol. I am fussy...brought a few rolls of Charmin for my tender tush as well. Scott
