Is that all day, or just until the polls close? And even on resorts?

    Wowzers!

We don't f^%k around, well, maybe we do. Our first trip to TTR booked for June 7th-14th. Boobs Cruise booked for the 10th. Planning to participate in theme nights. Maybe not ALL of them. We'll see. Can hardly wait to be taught how to party. ;)

I'm pretty sure they make an exception for us "gringos" in the tourist zones. I believe the rule only applies to the Nationals. We go to Mexico early every June and have never faced an issue getting drinks.

That policy may be different in resorts, but on the streets of Cozumel or Playa Del Carmen we have not been able to get a drink on election day. They take it serious

We were at Temptation during an election period and since it was a tourist hotel they were still able to serve alcohol, but if i am remembering correctly, they were limited to having only one bar open during that period.

With this group that is going to be one busy bar. Hope they stock it well.

We were there during an election day a couple of years ago. We stocked up on liquor the night before. They did have a bar open, and all bars open once the polls close. Off the resort, they will not serve alcohol.
