Have a conversation and if it feels right, just ask. If they're not into it, they will probably just politely say no. Never had anyone get upset with the question at TTR.
Swingers will have white wristbands with red lips on it, if they advertise it, if not flirt alot you will get hit on.

We found the best way to find out of a couple was in the lifestyle or not was just to simply ask. It seemed like regardless if a couple was or was not in the ls they were not offended by us just asking
We aren't into the "lifestyle" and have been approached numerous times. We just say something like sorry not for us now lets go have shots!!!! No one gets upset (I take it as a compliment actually)
