Just got back. Had a phenomenol time except we, and at least 4 others we spoke to got, what appears to be Montezuma's Revenge. Horrible diarrhea, stomach cramps, (some chills fever for just a bit, thank god!). We were there from 4/28-5/5. I've been there only once before and we were fine. Any others experiencing this? Is this just what happens when you go to mexico or should we all notify the hotel?
We went to Chichen Itza and I totally thought that was it, but others that also got it did not leave the resort.
This is very normal to get this. My doctor called it the traveling diarrhea. Call your doctor to get cipro and it will clear up.
What is the protocol for Cipro? I have a 10 day supply but I'm just wondering how long before it takes effect and all that jazz?
The shits are caused by excessive drinking and eating foods you body is not acustom too. I get it every year. As for viruses I haven't seen anyone sick this year. First year I did not get sick no chest infections yeah. Only the shits abit, could bear them though.
