The party at TTR is the biggest attraction for us. Absolutely love paty o's and sexy pool...the only two things we ever do the whole trip. Lol Can't seem to leave the resort without some sort of injury due to dancing.
We were looking at Hedo for May 2016. The price in May 2015 was considerably lower at that time of the year from Calgary. If it's reasonable again in May 2016 I think we'll check it out for a couple weeks. From the Hedo forums and trip advisor I would say that Hedo has it's rabid fans just like TTR. We had a great time at TTR so it will be the standard we measure Hedo by.
In July 2013 we met a group that had been going to Hedo for 5-6 years and thought they'd give TTR a try. They were bored at TTR and felt it was prudish by comparison. On the flip side we didn't like Hedo at all. Last year we did both Desires........magnificent resorts and chill factor. This year..........for now we are at TTR......and meeting back up with 3-4 couples. We wish that TTR would have a Nude Pool but don't think that's ever going to happen. We think the quiet pool would be the perfect place.......off the public beach a bit......semi hidden....heck half the people in the afternoons are nude at some point anyway! Back to the point............TTR, DRM, and DP........are all better that Hedo. ........IOP........but to each his/her own.

Both are great groups of people. Booking through WWV gets a cheaper rate and Robert and Beth take care of everything except airfare! Our week last year in an oceanview Jacuzzi suite cost $4300 for the week. TTR total with airfare and transport for comparable room is $3200. That's a difference of almost $2500. It's worth trying it out at least once.
After 8 trips to Hedo we went to TTR in April for the first time mainly for the price difference. Around 700 for the week.for us we will not return to TTR. Certain travel agencies can get you group rates that are well below the 500 a night that was quoted earlier.
I vote for TTR. Nothing against Hedo, but we are going in July to TTR so you all should as well!!! :xyxthumbs::flash:
How does he feel about every other person on the beach trying to sell you something, legal or otherwise? It gets old fast, and the whole "respect" thing is out the window as soon as you tell them no for the 100th time. The Negril beach is beautiful, but it's not Mexico or TTR. Glad we tried it, but it doesn't compare to the fun we've had in Mexico, much less at TTR.
Bad weather at Temptation kills everything, as there isn't ANYTHING inside to do at all. Nothing. Hedo is.... Hedo. I guess. Naked people sort of lazily partying and hooking up if that is the thing. Temptation in July will be off the hook. Hot, sweaty, dancing drunken ribaldry and debauchery.... if you happen to be into that.
