We understand they need to play music that appeals to the majority. We think they should play some Latin music maybe earlier in the evening instead of the repetitive looping tech music that nobody dances to anyway. It's very funny to us that we go to Mexico and have to actually ask for Latin music.
It's funny you go to other Caribbean Islands (D.R./Cuba) the Latin music gets repetitive. Variety would seem to be the key. We're not that good at it, but we love trying, and the Latin dances are very sensual, so you think it would fit the atmosphere!
My gf will take lots of Latin music in a USB that she has prepared. We will take all different types of Latin music so let's hope that the DJ will play some during the nights. Nothing better than getting down and dirty to some Latin beats in Temptation :icon_wink:
Great idea; just convince them to throw in a few Bachattas and Merengues. We have a handle on those; Salsa is a little more of a challenge. LOL
I'm American and my wife is a Filipina, I'm sure she will be a minority if not the only one... but that's okay, she's a lot of fun and will have a super tan!! ha She doesn't like to get dark but I tell her the american girls pay thousands per year to get half the tan she has wishing they could get darker!
