We´re also from México, and we´ll be at TTR june 6 to 13th, been there before 3 times and nationality has never been a problem. We hang out with everybody regardless of our nationality. That said, we usually try to find one or two couples or single guys that are latin and/or speak spanish since my wife is not very fluent in english and sometimes she just wants to chat in her native language. We´ve always had the fortune to meet very nice people, couples and singles, that are from México, Venezuela, Italy (there was once this Italian guy whom my wife loved BTW), and other latin countries or spanish speaking people from the States.
We also like the music at patio's but think a little bit more variety would be nice. It gets a little repetitive at times. My wife and sister-in-law had hoped to do some salsa dancing our last trip. My wife tried requesting some Latin music but had no luck.

jajaja!! that works!! my wife also is not very fluent on English! but she understands everything, 5 or 6 drinks and she will be speaking French!!
My boyfriend & myself are Mexican. Will be at TTR May 30th - June 4th. This will be our 2nd trip to TTR. There was a few Mexicans when we meet our last trip. I agree there are not many Latins on this forum. I love to dance & my opinion Latins have the best dance moves, just saying! LOL!!.. :cheerleaders:
Rafi {the house DJ} has played Latin music every time we've asked. We always buy a couple of CD's of Latin dance music from him so maybe that's the secret to getting Latin music played. They play to the crowd so whatever crowd has the majority calls the shots! Bring more Latinas y latinos lol
Good tip, we will definitely try that. Out of the 2 times I've been to TTR I remember they only played a couple of merengues while we were there and just us and another latin couple got up to dance lol.
These people don't know what they missing dancing a merengue nice and cozy with your patyner doesn't get sexier than than on the dance floor
