I agree.. we got held up for a few minutes when a Texan - Cancun resident came over and rescued us on our first trip. We were so thankful. She escorted us to our waiting ride. One of the first amazing people we came across. Great trip advice..

Great advice! I can relate to all of them! I was really hesitant about wearing a thong but at the last minute I decided I would order one just in case I was feeling brave and the Boobs Cruise seemed like a good option since it would be a smaller group of people. Matt didn't even know I had bought one until I put it on the morning of the Boobs Cruise! I surprised myself with how quickly I shed my top the first day at the pool (10 min). I didn't feel pressured by anyone but I'll be honest....I felt out of place with it on and it felt completely normal to not have it on. I have issues with body distortion and body image and it wasn't until we were boarding our flight to Utah that I realized I had just spent 5 days without a lot of clothes and never felt insecure. Remembering how that felt has made it much easier to order items for this years trip that I would have never ordered for our first trip. You'll be amazed at the friendships you'll build here! ~Nat
Great post with great advice! Only things I would add is: Is everybody a swinger? Absolutely not! You will meet many people of all comfort zones in this aspect! I've never felt sexier than I do when at TTR!! Enjoy yourself and after you've warmed up a bit, try to step out of your comfort zone! We've been 4 times and every year got alot easier to let loose and embrace "NOBODY KNOWS YOU! NOBODY GIVES A SHIT!!'
