I went in Sept twice, and it never rained for more then a hour. But the weeks before and after our trip did have rain. It can really be hit or miss I think in Sept, as their could be a tropical storm or hurricane. We just got really lucky because there was a hurricane on it's way, but it made a turn and went the other direction right before we arrived.
