Never been to Cancun! Did lots of looking and procrastinating and landed here.. Going May 10th thru 14th (4 nights). Any pointers for 1st timers greatly appreciated. CANT WAIT!!!
Meet Fonzi and Jose at the tiki bar. Visit the barn for a decent filet. Coconut shrimp for lunch at the seafood next to the tiki bar. The gulf is amazing, going for a wade, ride the waves. Have a drink in the lobby bar. If only for four nights, I would not venture too far. Maybe, a Boobs Cruise out of temptations, easy cab ride. Steak sandwich at the grill by the pool. Do something that you have never done before...... Just have fun
I am planning on leaving my phone in the room and locking up the lap top. My restaurant can survive without me (I hope). I want to do what I want , when I want. No one knows me and I don't care... Hope they have enough Bacardi!!
I would be shocked if after your first visit to Cancun that you do not become hooked. Great weather. The crystal blue water and the white sand beach, plus the way the workers treat you will have you wanting to return. We honeymooned there in '93 and have been back 10 more times!!
Take a pair of slacks and a collared shirt. The Shangra-La is one place you won't want to miss. Great food and atmosphere. We leave GP on the 11th so may get to meet you when you arrive. I'll be at the Tiki bar.
