Being from the STL area makes me appreciate what you are going through. Having rioters/thugs from out of town come in and, destroy the reputation of your city is very discouraging. The STL police are not exactly known for being tolerant either, so be careful what you boast about. It can happen in Ferguson, Baltimore, or Houston. At least Ferguson is not the only place that this can happen.
The Houston police unfortunately are often overly trigger happy. IN last few years they shot a man armed with a weed eater, 4 officers around him. They shot a man in a wheel chair in a room, 6 officers present, man armed with a butter knife. My point was that in Texas it is the heavily armed citizens that prevent things from spilling over. That combined with an overly aggressive police force is what makes the difference in Houston.
Because like Bill Murray said in Stripes, our ancestors got kicked out of every decent country in Europe!

Be safe............... Seems to me PD issues have been overflowing for some time now and while some may have been "justified", the trend is troubling to me! At the same time........if I was in the PD........I'd do whatever I believed was justified to get home to my family on a given night. Then I'd let the chips fall where they may. I'm also OK with protests........but this thug behavior, looting and such is never justified! Those thugs ought to be put in jail.........every single one of them!
Just duck and weave. The protesters are generally from a different area. WTF, everyone is against public safety, ok just a few and they make the news. Fukien liberals are killing our great country.
