Just curious So is there much difference in the price of a TTR holiday between the UK, USA, and Canada. We got 14 nights all inclusive, return flights, seat selection, transfers and Mexican departure tax for only £1050 per person (us= $1590--- or $1940 Canadian. We think this is a real bargain. How does it compare to across the pond? :uk1::usa1::flagcanada::mnm: 21 days and counting.
We went for jacuzzi room which was £1700 each, that's for May 19, two weeks. If we had booked a week later it would have been another £500 each extra. That's a bloody rip off if you ask me :-/
Always cheaper for Brits. Different market, different pricing. That's why Alpharooms (British company) often works out a great deal for those in North America.
We paid about the same as sarahlee, but ours didn't include the departure tax. It is for October mind so I would assume it's a cheaper time of year
I have used Alpha rooms for several years now. We book air thru the US airlines when we have our dates established (usually 8 to 9 months ahead of trip). Due to the fact we stay most of our trip at our mom and pop place on isla mujeres that's the way we've done it for years. This trip I booked 3 nights at TR at the beginning and 3 nights at GP at the end. I ended up paying $152.00 a night for a garden room at TR and $165.00 a night at GP. I booked both of these back in August 2014. In past years I have booked 3 night trips at different AI's up and down the Riviera Coast and Alpharoom has always had the best price. I've never had any issues with them and will continue to use them. 3 more sleeps :beer4::drunk::3some:
Booked in January for 9 nights with Orbits. Airfare and a garden view room $1200.00 US per person. The best I've seen in the states with Airfare where we live is $1050.00-$1100.00 per person for the same number of nights. And its been almost the same price for the past two years. Just FYI
We paid the same also for Sept/Oct but ours did include departure tax. Thomas Cook now include this, it was not included last year!
