May 28th is the last cruise for May - but I agree - May 28 to June 6 is a 9-day gap - that's a large window Hopefully others will post on here requesting a BC earlier in June. Steve added a cruise for May due to high demand, but people have to post on here. Good luck cj&wj, I'm hoping it happens !
The only reliable stats I have to work with are those in the monthly roll call. But it seems a lot of people don't add their dates these days. This means I have very little idea of numbers. When I see a period of say 7 days where we only have 30 people listed in the roll call, considering not everyone wants to do a cruise, I have to assume that we are unlikely to get the 25 we need. To be honest the minimum of 25 is something that we've carried on for years since we were using boats that held 50. The true number we need to make it worthwhile is more like 35 these days. For the end of June / early July there is little more than 30 people listed in the roll call, so I've delayed deciding if we'll have one then since it is a long way off and we can see how things go. I'm hoping more people will add their dates to the roll call and I can review things in a few weeks. This 'announcement' thread is to gauge feedback and, as mentioned in the first post, dates can be tweaked if it seems that a date change will suit more people and lead to better attendance. Buit it's really important to add your dates to the roll call, otherwise it's a lottery.
