So I quit smoking on Jan 1st, and let's just say it's not been kind to my waistline. I've sort of let things slide on the exercising / dieting front way more than I should have. I'm looking at myself in the full length mirror for the first time this year, and I've noticed a fair few of my 'lumps and bumps' have expanded a bit over the past four/five months. Damn my constant yo-yo battle with the bulge! I hope people aren't too judgemental next week when I'm back at the resort in my plus-size swimwear and tight dresses. I'm 100% motivated to get back to it after our trip next week, but I have every intention of eating like a pig and drinking like a fish the whole time as a final goodbye to all this nonsense. Will be back to MyFitnessPal calorie control, swimming, gyming and walking on my lunch hour as of April 27th!

well ive lost 5 lbs. not a lot but its going. I have until sept. to lose at least 10 more. fingers crossed! have to behave. shit wont fall off like it jumped on! oh well 51 isn't nice to me!!
I'm definitely not feeling my best... I'm looking forward to drinking like a fish with you... And congrats with the Smoking.. one day I hope I will be able to say the same.. K We just got back yesterday. I told myself that I wouldn`t get on the scale but I did. Well I was shocked. I only gained 4 lbs in 13 days. I ate burgers and fries or fries and scewers for supper probably 10 of those days and pizza or buffet for lunches and drank my ass off. The other two days I had lasagna. None of them good choices at all. I also danced my ass off, did four boobs cruises and napped most nights between 7-10:00 pm which is why supper was burgers as I got out around 10:30pm most nights. Boobs Cruise days I average 12 hours of dancing. I never made the gym once as my feet gave me big issues so Glenn gave me nightly foot massages. I felt uncomfortably fat there near the end of our trip and totally thought there was no way I would fit my 28 inch jeans. I wore them home. Shocking. Anyways I am thinking that what makes the difference for me is Vodka,water and Mio during the day. Sambuca only at night with diet cokes in between. I also got an average of 7 hours of sleep kinda of broken up but I think that made a difference too. I was totally expecting to gain 10 lbs on this trip. Anyways, I just wanted to share. I get a little pissed at this since in the past I have worked out daily, ran there, watched what I ate and still gained 5 lbs a week. Anyways I am officially back on my diet. Next trip August 26th. 4 months so lets see what kind of damage I can do to the rest of this fat. I am officially off the burger diet.

Congrats on quitting smoking Trish. I am sorry I didn't notice but I a great thing to breathe fresh air. I quit 17 years ago. Keep it going.
