That's for sure. We were underweight when we went down, left a lot of things at the resort (ie shampoo etc.) and was overweight by 3kg when we left. So the moisture thing is most definitely a factor.
I have really nice linen pants I wear...very "beachy" and comfortable... Never understood guys that don't want to dress up when going out for dinner...our wives go through a ton of work to look great and we should at least dress to impress as well.
I would never even think about wearing shorts into a nice restaurant. If our ladies can take the time to get looking so beautiful why can't we take couple minutes just to put on a pair of pants and some shoes. Just saying....
As mentioned above, one pair of linen pants and nice sandals will do the job nicely when having dinner at the Asian or Italian restaurant. After dinner, it's just a quick trip to the room to change into shorts. Rita
