And that is exactly what you are supposed to do. Kudos for doing what makes you and your guy happy and don't give a second thought about what others might think. The chances are very good that they aren't worrying about what you think either.
I agree, nobody has to drive anywhere, just walk to the pool, for food and restaurants,we have NO responsibility for the week.

Read all the posts and one thing popped into my head...how many people have ran into couples that openly fought while at TTR? On our first trip to TTR we went with another couple that actually did right in front of us...she stormed off and left him with us (making for an extremely awkward moment). Made the rest of our trip not nearly as enjoyable (however, we've now been back 3 more times so obviously we like the resort!)...we just make it a point to not travel when they are there lol...
I think I would have felt the need for a comparison right then & there, I'd bee willing to bet his "girlfriend" wouldn't have been in your league, I'd need to know which one gets to be the big spoon or if they take turns, or if his idea of safe sex is wearing latex gloves. Single guys who act like they are somehow "above" others at TTR get no mercy from me, particularly if they cock-block by swarming the occasional unicorn that wanders into the sexy pool.....
