The ability to dress super sexy and revealing (that sounds better than 'slutty') is one of the best things about TTR. Where else can I wear ruffled panties and pasties? At least on this thread, I think the usage of the word slut is more of a tongue in cheek thing. In the real world I would have to agree with you that the connotation is very duragatory but there are times where it fits.
Historically, you guys are right. But as with all insulting slurs, the only way to take power away from the word is to own it...make it our own. Who's with us? Slut power!!!
