We're similar to you in that we need quiet to sleep. We party late into some nights and other nights end pretty early for Candace. When it's time for me, I need the quiet so last year we had a Jacuzzi suite by the Quiet Pool and it was easy to sleep. We stayed by the Quiet Pool but I have yet to set a toe into the pool, but I could see the appeal if you want to chill/nap. When we decide to chill, we move to the beach and watch the water. Also, she can take her top off at any pools, the beach, or outside. She just needs it on while in the lobby and restaurants and maybe the gym, but I have yet to go in there. Maybe topless ladies on treadmills could get more people into the gym.
I can't help myself. The bacon at TTR is shaped funny, too salty, too crispy- and I can't get enough of it! Sadly we only woke up early enough 2 times during our week stay to actually have breakfast. Damn that late night party!
We do! That layer of delicious pozole, tamales, chilaquiles, and plantains helps buffer the system for the impending alcohol overload I am going to put it through.
Our first trip to TTR we were the same way. We booked a room near the quiet pool thinking after a long day we would be ready for some rest. After the first trip we have booked rooms near Paty O's ever since. We figure we will rest when we get home but while at TTR....It's Party time
I have to laugh. On our first trip (May 2014) Blondie was inclined to think the quiet pool was where she was comfortable. We arrived and walked out to the sexy pool to see if any of our new CCC friends were there. A couple of minutes later Brighteyes recognized us and called out my name. Ten minutes later we had met 50 new friends, Blondie's top was off for (really) good and we haven't dipped so much as toe in the quiet pool in 2 trips (16 days) and we go back in 2 weeks for 11 days. The only thing that may (will) change is pushing our boundaries a little more. I hope you have the same experience. If not, there plenty of quiet resorts out there.
We are getting a Jacuzzi Suite again and since they are all located around the quiet pool we were not bothered by any noise coming from Paty-O's when we crashed before the music stopped. Who knows if or when we will sleep, so I prefer the quiet pool area rooms to help out with the noise.
We thought we would have no noise problem too on our last trip because we got a jacuzzi room. Hah!. Our room was the one that is right across the hall from the entrance to Nice Shoes so it was a bit noisy at night. At least they shut down before Paty'Os.
