One of the things my wife loves the most about TTR is the ability to wear the sexiest most provocative outfits she can find on the internet and prance around at Paty-o's with no judgement... Needless to say I LOVE IT!! Many others did as well! I tell you this after 20+ years of marriage it is unexplainable how turned on we both get at TTR by the openness of everyone. If anyone asks us the secret to a good long lasting marriage we would have to prescribe two weeks at TTR a year... We love it there and if that makes us sluts we will wear that label proudly!
I spent an hour in Forever 21 with Jamie getting some resort-wear for her last weekend. Given what's on the rack there at a major retailer...I think we're well past the point of worrying about dressing 'slutty' as a big deal....holy crap!
It's your vacation, it's your money and if someone wants to step outside of THEIR box so be it. There is no reason for anyone to shame another who is having a good time. What is good for one person may not be comfortable for another and that's ok. If you can't handle the heat then get the heck out of the sexy pool and use the pool right next door at that kid friendly hotel. I'm sure there is no "sluttiness" there.
I tell Ang...the trip may be too short, but your dress never will be. If anyone gives attitude, just take the sexy up a notch and let them know who is in control of the situation. Nothing is more sexy than confidence.

I have a story about our last trip. My husband won Mr Temptation. One of the things he had to do to win was collect as many swim suits as possible. The whole pool was naked and he sat in the "winners chair" with everyone's swim suits all over him. The ladies had to retrieve their suits. This girl came up, sat on his lap, straddled him Naked and started kissing and propositioning him. Ummmm, I was a bit taken aback. He was hands off looking at me......as if to say oh shit. He kinda had to peel her off. I'm not a confrontational type but I kinda wanted to start slut shaming. I kept it to a nasty look. What would you have done? Just curious.

Wow. This thread really made me think. Thank you to the OP. Our whole lives as women, we were taught NOT to be a slut and for many I think that's really difficult to get away from. Only since I met my husband have I been able to embrace my inner slut. Lol. I think it's partly his influence of allowing me to be myself, without judgement, and partly me becoming more comfortable in my own skin as a woman. I find that each time we go back to TTR, I get more and more comfortable with myself and my outfits get more and more tiny. Lol. With that said, I think many of you are right in saying that each of our definitions of the word slut is very different. I was raised in a very open-minded family...nudists, and open discussions about sex was normal. However, to be a tease was what I was warned against. Lol. Funny how no matter how you were raised, society still plays a big role in our views. I've gotten some of those looks at dinner at TTR. It did take away from how I felt about myself at the time, but I was able to get over it pretty fast. 85 more days! No one knows you and no one gives a shit!
