My wife did have an experience of this nature on our first visit to TTR a couple of years ago. She wore a yellow dress that I bought for her to dinner, it was short and low cut but there was nothing hanging out and nothing inappropriate about it in my mind, just a sexy dress that she looked great it. While we were being seated (think it was the asian restaurant) we walked by another table where 2 women proceeded to give the look up and down multiple times as we walked by and then proceeded to do the whisper and stare for a few minutes after we were seated. From the look on their faces they did not approve of her attire and felt the need to make a scene and discuss it. Although I told her not to worry about them, their reaction/attempt at shaming did affect her during the meal and we went back to the room after so she could change out of the dress. I hated that their response made my wife uncomfortable and killed the vibe of our meal. I hope it doesn't happen again, and will probably have a few things to say to anyone who does.
I think Fantasiosos is right... But have to say Women can be such Bitches... (No reason for being a bitch at TTR) I think its terrible that she felt she had to go change.. and I think I would of done the same.. Such a shame really We have confidence but sometimes there are those that can just blow you out of the water...
Women should lift each other up. Not always bash each other down. When you treat people poorly, or make others feel bad it just reflects poorly on you. If people try to do that to me I know exactly what they are doing. Jealousy is an ugly trait. Poor self esteem.
Melissa recently posted to another group that slutwear is becoming the biggest section in her closet!
Ha! Looks like my closet - I have a whole section dedicated to it! Next to my business suits LOL. And remember men, women are not the only ones that need to "slut it up", Tony was just saying last night he needed to order another mini pair of swim wear for the trip, he has several but Mexico is the only place he can really get away with wearing them. Oh, and occasionally New Orleans. Michelle
