Cipro Cipro will help if you get a bug and its readily available in the pharmacia. Remember, sun and Cipro don't mix. Pick up some 50 spf with your cipro.
Unfortunately, booze and Cipro don't mix very well either. But, if you do have to take Cipro make sure you have good probiotics to replenish the good flora in your gut that the Cipro kills off.

Thank you all for your responses! We ordered a good probiotic that includes saccharomyces boulardii - after some research. Should arrive next week so we will have time to get in a good two weeks before our trip and have some to take during our trip. We always bring our own mugs and drink lots of water...but like I said, it can be something as simple as how they wash your mug before filling it back up at the bar, walking in and out of the public restrooms, it doesn't have to be contamination of the food or the regular drinking water to give you a bug. Now...to my next topic I am going to post, since I did see folks talk about this before..de-molding your room! Michelle
