I might need a chin strap to hold on the helmet I should probably wear.

Just make sure your helmet is buoyant. It would suck to go overboard and have your helmet drag you to the bottom head first. The visual is kind of comical though.

I actually have a real WW2 army helmet. It weighs a ton. We painted it a interesting green color and wrote the words "Full Retard" with and arrow pointing down. It is common practice at my house that when someone does or says something extremely stupid they are forced to wear the helmet as punishment. Other times the helmet is actually worn for safety reasons involving a slip-n-slide.

(By the way I am not using the saying derogatory towards anyone with a handicap, but it is a line from the movie Tropic Thunder)

I just have my John Kocinski replica Arai helmet. It's cool but not that cool.

That seems way cooler. (I don't know anything about racing and had to cheat and look that up)

What would really be cool is if I had something to ride while I'm wearing it. I'm currently bikeless and wearing it on the couch just makes it hard to drink.

Hahaha. You can "smoke" in it with the visor down. That's always fun!

Sorry to hear your bike-less. I am in the same boat, but it is permanent. The convo went something like this:

Me: E, I think I am going to get a motorcycle
Elyse: Do you think that is smart idea for you? (staring intensely)
Me: (shakes head) No I guess not
    -End of motorcycle discussion

That's definitely not my situation. I started riding dirt bikes in 1970 at the age of 7 and I got my first street bike they day I turned 15 1/2 and got my learners permit in 1978. Colleen and and first met in 1983 and she loved riding with me and she still does now.
