Hello. It will be my first time at temptations april 27-may 1. I searched some of the forum and couldn't find anything so I thought I'd ask. Are the bartenders able to mis a bunch of different drinks? I'm not a big beer person. Stuff like margaritas or daiquiris? That kinda stuff. Thanks for the help! :icon_lol:
The staff at TTR are pretty amazing and are also very creative in coming up with alternatives to beer.
Yea I have found that the TTR bartenders are much better then the bartenders I have had at other all-inclusives. They can make a very large variety of drinks. Just be careful drinking too many of the frozen blender drinks. They taste good, but are loaded with sugar. Which means hangovers can be pretty bad if you drink 20 of them during the day. I try to only have a few here and there.
And then there is the issue with brain freeze. I get it so damn easily that I just pass on the blended drinks altogether. Besides, I like my margaritas on the rocks anyway.
Can they make Long Island Iced teas? Also, heard some complaining that they are not very responsive unless you tip...is that true?
Yes they can make those, and some bartenders make them very well. But Long Islands can always be hit or miss no matter where you are based on the bartender. I try not to drink those though. Normally ends up with me falling into a bathtub, ripping the shower curtain down, and calling my mom at 3am. Oh and I don't agree with the tipping comment. I mean I always tip and get great service from everyone, but I don't think that is why they do it. It might help you get picked first when approaching the bar with someone who isn't tipping. But they treat everyone pretty fair. I find people that the people that get crap service has more of a connection to how you treat the staff and the way in which you order. I have been at the bar and heard how rude some people can order, then complain their drinks suck. I just think in my head "no shit Sherlock. I would have made you whatever so quickly and crappy just to send you on your way. And you better believe I won't be rushing back to grab your next order."
