Seems to be some confusion over my post. We have been to TTR 6 times, and we host huge wild parties back here at home with the same flavour, so we are not prudes or whiners. We go to TTR for the wild crazy party and the friendly sexy people. I guess we simply feel the same way as STACIA_AND_JOHN. The sexual vibe on the dance floor and around Paty'O Lounge is hot, but what is not hot is partying beside little boys that look 12 years old. Many of our trips there have been off the hook because we partied with the Scotts - Norie and Nessy come to mind. What we have always enjoyed about TTR is how many describe it "Spring Break for Adults" but this time in our opinion, it was simply "Spring Break". We had a blast in spite of that and met some amazing people and will definitely be back, we just hope the change in age groups isn't a trend but more of a one off. When people are getting to security, they get really testy and become less tolerant of the borderline stuff that makes this resort so much fun.
We were there 5 thru 11 and and had blast, with people are age last night there the 10 looked like a lot of single guys there, but we will be back next April.Boobs Cruise on the 8 th was AWESOME!!!!!
We thought this was a question posed by the OP. Too Old For TTR? The answer isn't an age or a number but determined by your actions and attitude I think. If you spend more time guarding your lounger than you do in the water, you might be too old. If you're more concerned with your place in line to get a refill at Patty Os then time spent dancing and mingling you might be too old. If you are so upset with other people it interferes with your own fun you might be too old. These are random spontaneous thoughts. Your mileage may vary.
I don't know there's something just not sexy about being dry humped on the dance floor by single guys that look like they could be your grandchildren ?? It's just weird !!!
BRITSRHOT2, One night 2 really young guys were in Paty'Os on a day pass. As the evening was dying down, they both removed their shirts and were dancing along the outside edge of the dance floor, trying to decide their next move when a lady walked over and called them out. Luckily I was within earshot to hear pieces of the conversation. She asked their age and when they replied she said "There is no way, you both look 12" At this point the boys retreated back to collect their shirts and left the lounge.
And this is why we are going with 200 friends next week...there is no way to have a weird time with night pass drunk kids then!
It all comes down to fun and having a great time! I noticed back in the day there was a few Adult only resorts and people would go there to have fun. Over the years a lot of those resorts closed because of the turnout. TTR resort has always been the party resort. Now that the 20's people are hearing how much fun this resort can get they want to experience it too. For people who have been going year after year they see that the younger tadpoles don't know how to act with class. In a resort that has been really good to party at. Look at the bigger picture here there are now a ton of family resorts and very few adult resorts. We have to adapt and know that Spring break will not be a good time to go to TTR. Which is Mar. and Beginning April. Smart choice ask when all the 30's, 40's, and 50's go to TTR and you will have the time of your life....
PassionCouple, This was our third trip at this time of year. Never saw anything remotely like this. Might have to stick to October going forward and head elsewhere for April, as this is the time of year we can travel.
