1st Timer Trip Report (with actual details this time)

My initial report was post 12 hour travel day, short and to the point, but fails to tell people who browse here and have not been to TTR anything good.

Arrival
USA Transfers ALL the way! Off plane, luggage in hand, right to empty van and right to resort. At the pool by 10:30am. Obviously, kind of quiet at 10:30, but as the day went on the pool filled up. Room not available so we ate and relaxed in the pool. As we sat there by ourselves, I wondered how long it would take to meet some new people. Most everyone was in a small to medium sized group talking at the pool. By late afternoon and check in, we had met several groups and had fun.
Room in 5000 block. Perfect. Quiet, clean. Nothing special about the room, comfortable bed, lots of towels and we spend little time there anyways.
Thursday (day 1) was lingerie night). Great show at the Nice Shoes, and decent amount of people dressed up. Party at Paty-O's after was fun and we met more people.

I'm not going to detail every day we were there. Theme night participation was somewhat minimal most nights, BUT there were a lot of people partying every night. We had some late nights (7am!)

The pool got busier and busier during our stay, lots of great people and eye candy and a TON of fun people. Some crazy Scottish guys having the time of their life who initially looked like trouble but I saw them doing nothing disrespectful the entire time. Security, on the other hand, was constantly telling them not to do things. Clothes off, backflips into pool, LOL. It was harmless but I'm sure the resort was not too happy about it.

The staff is great, however they really had to work had to get people to participate in the events. They were all fun. Sara69 led most events.

So here's a quick rundown of things.

The Resort.
Good. Certainly not a 5 star resort, but the fun areas (beach, pool etc) are well equipped and lots of space. Seating at the pool sucks but we sat on the deck area up by the bathrooms a lot and that was fine.

The Food.
Mediocre, but not bad. We didn't come to stuff our faces or on a foodie vacation. So the buffet was just fine, the restaurants decent. If you're coming on vacation and worried about great food, this isn't the place for you.

Staff
Terrific, with a caveat for bar and wait staff. I really felt that without constantly tipping, service went downhill fast. This is an all inclusive resort, and tipping is optional. So some people CAN tip and will. Some can't. Service should remain the same no matter what. The bartenders seemed to ONLY give you good drinks if you tipped. We did, and got great service. Those that didn't, complained of weak drinks.

Other people at TTR.
Amazing. Never been anywhere with THAT many people having fun, meeting 10-12 new people every day and by day 3 knowing a ton of new faces. If you come here and don' meet new people and have a great time, it's your own fault.

Swingers....
AHH the dreaded swingers...YES, there are lots of swingers at TTR. NO they will not bother you if you are not into that. YES you will see some strong displays of PDA. NO you won't be involved unless you want to and are invited. The ONLY thing I will say, is that if you are a swinger and a female, do NOT assume that any guy at the pool wants to have you grab his junk. Personally, I thought the lifestyle couple we saw were all cool. And I'm sure there were many more that you could not even tell in public.

Negatives.
My liver hurts....LOL
Nothing really negative to say. We will be coming back for sure.
