    Hey Everyone,

I was hoping everyone could help me out. My wife and I just booked our second trip to TTR and I'm starting to think I should of booked the Jacuzzi Suite over the Deluxe Room. Now I'm looking at upgrading.

We are looking to have a fun and crazy time this go round and want to make sure the room helps provide that. Please tell me any differences of the two rooms or stories you have in order to make the right decision. Thanks for the help.

Wow, that doesn't look like a very big Jacuzzi haha. We could probably have just as much fun in the shower. Thanks for the visual.

We just stayed in a jacuzzi room last week and the advantage is it is on the 1st floor, it is near the quiet pool and not far from the sexy pool, Paty-O's and the sports bar. The jacuzzi is pretty small, but I am sure you could fit a few people in if you don't mind being close  Matt is 6'4 and he could sit in it but there wasn't much more room.

We usually upgrade when we get to the resort $40-$50 dollars per night after negotiation.
I prefer the jacuzzi suite for location more than the jacuzzi. The jacuzzi is just a whirlpool bathtub. The room has a king bed and is quiet.

Great post. I was wondering the same thing. We reserved a Jacuzzi suite for june, first trip. I will have to say I am a little disappointed in the size of the Jacuzzi, but it looks intimate. And maybe the other factors(location) will make it worth while. Does anybody know if any jacuzzi suites have an ocean view?

The view from the Jacuzzi Suites is absolute ocean front, however there is not a balcony on any of the Suites that we have been shown. I also believe that the jacuzzi is inside the shower or in some odd section in some of the suites.

The Jacuzzi Rooms like the picture above have a ground floor jacuzzi on the balcony. Some of the rooms are close to the quiet pool bar, and you bribe the bartender for a Lincoln to deliver drinks to you while you are kicking back in the jacuzzi. They are really nice on a rainy day, and a good way to make friends.

Thank you, all info is helpful. I'm hoping it will help with late night fun as well.

Yes jacuzzi ROOMS are around the quiet pool, jacuzzi on the balcony, small like mentioned (3 or 4 people, or 6 ladies tight :) ) and have just a very partial ocean view if any. Agree with the points above re the advantages... 1st floor, close but not too close so not too noisy.

Jacuzzi SUITES are on the end of the horseshoe shaped building around the quiet pool, with amazing full ocean views but jacuzzi is inside and not on the balcony.

A good target for an upgrade onsite for the jacuzzi room is $50 a night, for the jacuzzi suite $75 a night but more typically $100.

OP, regarding looking for more 'fun'. Yes, the jacuzzi is a great way to break the ice with an invite leading to whatever it is you may be looking for :) Had one of the best nights of our lives due to a jacuzzi room late night invite back in 2010 so we get a jacuzzi room or suite every time we return as a result :)

Do not upgrade through travel agent or online, you will get ripped off, you are better off bartering with them at checkin.
