Since our camera died I am also looking at the Cyber-Shot TX30 for a compact waterproof camera. It would be nice to have something that small and waterproof all in one package.

That's the one we bought before our last trip and can say we've been happy with any photos taken with it whether underwater or not. Just don't be a dufus like me, the dude, and forget to fully charge the battery before embarking on our one and only scuba diving outing. Dohhhhh! At least I got one of her bare bum while diving before the battery died. I think Boris likes his job!
Just ordered a SJ 4000 wifi on Amazon. Will post my thoughts when it arrives. It's similar to a go pro but only cost $109 with shipping.
Love my Olympus tough camera. It is one of the older models but works great. I would suggest buying the floating strap to go with it. I let mine just float beside me instead of having to hold it the all the time.
