The word as of today is another 2 weeks of antibiotics (inpatient) followed by mediport removal. Needless to say, she's pretty depressed about spending another 2 weeks in the hospital, being away from family on another holiday, having her port taken out, and staying in a hospital so far away from everyone. Please keep her in your thoughts that 2 weeks is all it is, this time, so that she may be able to make it out to the Meet & Greet...

Word today is that she's looking at 3 more days of antibiotics, then HOME (they didn't mention anything about her mediport). Her first question to me after telling me the news was to verify we still have the FW hotel room booked...of course we do. Hopefully she stays the course and you'll see BOTH of us in a couple of weeks!
