I know and understand Steve. Additionally, no matter what dates you pick, someone is coming in too late and some people are leaving too soon. We were just lucky in Feb, as the cruise date fell on a Tuesday, 4 days after we arrived. It fell perfect. May just has a big spread between cruises, Sat to Thur. Maybe the numbers will change and cause a change of dates like they did for April. I was just voicing a preference. I know, just like opinions, everyone has one!!

I tried a larger spread of dates for May because in April I proposed a lot of dates and we ended up with 120 people wanting to go one day and only 20 wanting to go a couple of days later, even though the numbers at the hotel were similar. I'd much rather run with 80 people twice than have one sold out and the other cancelled because we don't have enough people, and 40 who don't get to go at all. I also want to use the bigger boat every trip but I need 70+ to be sure of that, at the same time I cant go higher than 95. For the best chance of achieving 70-95 people I have to spread dates out. I try to pick dates that ensures 95% of people have at least one date they can choose. I've learned that if I offer too many choices everyone picks the same date. I may well revise the dates (add, take away or merge) as we progress closer and get a better idea of numbers.
