We will be at TTR for the first time exactly one week from today. Woohoo! We arrive in Cancun at 12:20 pm on our anniversary. I was hoping we could eat at one of the nice restaurants that night to celebrate, but I'm not sure how the reservations work. Do you have to make them the day of? Will we be there in time? If so, which restaurant would you recommend? Thanks in advance for your help!
Hi, We would recommend the Italian restaurant & you can ask at the front desk during your check-in fir a reservation. Also try the advance on-line express check-in and make a note on there too that it's your anniversary so you want a reservation at the Italian restaurant. Can't hurt to try. Express check-in saves you time when checking in, really!!!! We arrive the day after you two & had our 17 year wedding anniversary yesterday so we will be having a belated special dinner when we get to Temptation. See you poolside !!!
The good news is that only the Italian and Asian restaurants require reservations. Since it'll be your first day in I'd suggest the Seafood restaurant. It's not super fancy but is a good spot for a nice meal and some of the dishes are awesome.
I agree with Keith, Mr. Dos Equis on the Seafood restaurant, plus no reservations are required. However, you can let them know that you are trying to celebrate and they will take great care of you as always ! Plus, if you like Lobster, Bob & I feel this place prepares it the best. I agree! Pepe's place does prepare lobster the best. And the salmon is otstanding as well at Bella Vista p.s. to the OP U ususally can get in to a reservation restaurant after 9. If you are unable to get reservations to the Italian, go there anyway (after 9 p.m.) after you eat somewhere else, and just ask for Sexy Coffee!!!!!!! It is anniversary worthy. You're welcome
Wow! That is so sweet of you! Actually, after reading the comments in here, I think we may just do the seafood place. Although Italian is my fav, I know he'd love some lobster for our anniversary. I'll try the Italian later in the week. Thanks for offering, though, and we will see you soon!

We're celebrating our 29th anniversary just a bit early (it's April 26th)! If either of you like coffee, I strongly recommend the Sexy Coffee...I know it's available at the Italian, but I'm not sure about the other restaurants. It's AMAZING!!
